PetroNerds just wrapped up a set of appearances in Oxford and London, England. On November 25th, 2016 PetroNerds’ President and Co-founder Trisha Curtis gave a presentation on US shale oil well productivity gains in Oxford, England at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies’ (OIES) Oil Day. Trisha shortly thereafter served on the Hydrocarbon Investment panel at Chatham House’s Energy Transitions conference in London on November 28th, 2016. She discussed the state of US oil production and the US shale industry, given the market is now entering its third year with sub-$60 oil prices, and how those factors are affecting investment.
