DUG Rockies and EPRINC Presentations

PetroNerds presented at the DUG Hart Energy Rockies conference last week in Denver.  Trisha Curtis discussed crude oil prices and their impact on Rockies region E&P activity as the Permian continues to attract large amounts of capital.  She also addressed improving well productivity in the Bakken and Powder River Basins and the infrastructure pressure on DJ Basin operators and production.

PetroNerds also presented on Permian Basin development and related issues at a one day forum on natural gas infrastructure in Washington, DC, on April 19th, 2018.  This event was hosted by the Energy Policy Research Foundation, Inc. where Trisha Curtis is a non-resident fellow.  Trisha presented on the astounding volumes of water and natural gas that are associated with the continued rise in oil output, now at 3 million barrels per day.  She also discussed issues related to denser well spacing and the rise in the Midland – WTI basis swaps as that differential has expanded.
